The Barnabas Institute runs several programs through the Center for Christain Community. The following is a brief discription of the ministires:

Our Mission:  To Call Christians to Live a Christian Life
The Barnabas Institute provides inspiration, encouragement, and practical help for people who want to live Christian lives. 

Center for Christian Community:
The Center for Christian Community serves as a clearinghouse for information about Christians and the Christian community.  The “Christian community” includes individual Christians as well as the churches, ministries, and other organizations in which they serve.  The Center provides information to Christians and the public through a web site, publications and the support of Christian events in Santa Fe.

Santa Fe Prayer Net
Santa Fe Prayer Net makes available specific prayer requests from Santa Fe’s seventy-three churches.  Weekly prayer requests are distributed via mail or email to about 40 participating churches and Christian organizations.

Church Visitation Program: 
Santa Fe churches and pastors are visited through Church Visitation Program in support of the Santa Fe Prayer Net.  Fifty churches were visited in 2011.

On the Way eNewsletter: 
On the Way
is a monthly publication focused on Christian events in Santa Fe and surrounding communities.  In 2011 On the Way will become an eNewsletter.

Barnabas Institute Web Site: 
The Barnabas Institute Web Site (www.barnin.org) website is updated at least twice a month with current information.

Research
The Barnabas Institute has conducted survey Research regarding Christians and the Christian community nationally and locally.  A national survey was undertaken in 2002 and national and Santa Fe County surveys were completed in 2004.

Community Wide Events:  Center for Christian Community provides support for Community Wide Event Christian events such as the Fall Gathering of Churches and Prayer on the Plaza.
